Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A with MIUI 9 unveiled, sale debuts today

Finally, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A is official. The latest budget smartphone from the successful Chinese manufacturer has been unveiled. The Redmi Note 5A has been unveiled in two (three to be precise) variants - one with a Snapdragon 425 SoC and the other with the Snapdragon 435 SoC. The latter is again available in two different RAM and storage configurations and these models feature a fingerprint sensor on board. As confirmed previously, all the three variants of the Redmi Note 5A have dedicated dual SIM card slots and a microSD card slot for expandable storage. Base variant of Redmi Note 5A The Redmi Note 5A boasts of a 5.5-inch HD 720p display and uses a 1.4GHz quad-core Snapdragon 425 SoC paired with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage space, which can be expanded up to 128GB.
