Bragi Dash Pro wireless earphones Review 2018

Image
Bragi Dash Pro wireless earphones Review 2018 Helping to establish this newfound market for truly wireless headphones, Munich-based company Bragi was one of the pioneers to enter it back in late 2015 with its crowdfunded set, simply named "The Dash." Since then, we've seen several companies inundate the space with their own offerings and moving the segment to all sorts of directions. Some of these shifts were good, some bad, but the evolution has been evident since the first batch of wireless headphones came out. Two years later, we're testing out Bragi's latest product, the Dash Pro, which is an ambitious effort to deliver the most intelligent and advanced pair of truly wireless headphones. Can they meet the high expectations that they set? Design Bragi Dash Pro wireless earphones Review Seeing the Dash Pro for the first time, we couldn't help but think that their design is as conventional as it gets – albeit, you could argue that Bragi was first ...

For the right to repair our devices against the technological 2018

Image
For the right to repair our devices against the technological 2018 If you bought a Microsoft Surface Latop or a MacBook Pro and it stops working normally, forget about putting it in your hand . Trying to repair these devices is increasingly complicated, and the fault lies with manufacturers who want control over not only the hardware or software, but also the potential repairs needed by those products. Not only Apple, Microsoft, Sony or Samsung put it crude to repair our devices: all kinds of companies in all kinds of fields – they tell John Deree – they want to restrict our rights to what we buy. We have reached a point where when we buy a product, this is not ours : we can only use it (a little).Neither your products are yours, nor can you repair them You buy a smartphone and enjoy it until it starts going slower ( whatever it may be ) or it breaks. You buy a Tesla and if you use it to work as a driver, forget about loading it in the superchargers. You buy the latest albu...

Under the revised Dhan Dhana Dhan offer, Jio Prime members who had availed the Summer Surprise offer can now recharge their numbers for Rs 309 to get 1 GB of 4G data daily for 56 days, as against 28 days earlier. The Rs. 309 recharge pack was one of the most popular recharge plans offered by Jio. With the revised Rs 309 offer, now the per day cost comes to Rs 5.52 compared to Rs 4.75 in case of the Rs 399 pack. Similarly, if they recharge with the Rs. 509 pack, they will...

VoLTE feature phone: Too little to augment revenues for the operators

Image
We are again at the same crossroad where Jio launched JioFone is a limited capability Smartphone riding over a FeaturePhone. This is essentially to fill up the gap where a user may not have heavy data use case as well as from affordability point of view will not be willing to spend somewhere between Rs 4,000 – 6,000 for a Smartphone that may still not be a good fit from experience point of view. However, there is only one appeal for operators in a VoLTE FeaturePhone – it can bring its entire subscriber base on a single technology network and can initiate switching off the 2G networks. This will somehow align the investments with the revenue potentials. Currently, operators are investing heavily on 4G network capabilities but over 70% of their revenues are still coming from the voice services. This is a mismatch that a VoLTE FeaturePhone can help overcome and finally we may get to see convergence at the core as well as access infrastructure. The big question that remains is whether VoLT...
